New print distributed in the beginning of the 100 year anniversary of Knud Rasmussen's birth.  This account uses the original manner of speech.

"Though my repeated trips and overwintering among the Eskimos near the Smithsund district in northern Greenland, I have acquired such an interest in these people that their future has, for a long time already, been on my mind."

"If the population is to be able to come to terms with and utilize the new [way of life] for their benefit, it's fate must rise, that is to say the influence they shall have from it, must be led according to humane principles, where first and foremost sight is taken on the inhabitants well being and not exclusively on future business."

The two citations come from Knud Rasmussen's letter to inner country minister P. Munch, 2 March 1910.
